We live and work in a fast-changing business world. This means that we need to be able to adapt to these changes quickly. It’s not possible if our financial reporting systems are out-of-date, or just not up-to-date. We need to be geared for change. This is why we use the phrase “Accounting for Change” to underline what we do for clients.
Instead of just ensuring that historic data is carefully packaged and allocated to the correct expense accounts, or that it complies with generally accepted accounting practice (although this still needs to be done!), we have decided to adopt a more pro-active, forward-looking viewpoint. Data must become information, and the information must turn into ‘road-signs’ to keep businesses on track, focused and envisioned.
We feel that the modern Accountant should be a “business doctor” – involved, as it were, with the ‘health’ of a business. A small business, in particular, requires that accountants adopt a ‘preventative healthcare’ attitude – more concerned with ensuring that the business not only survives, but flourishes.
So, yes – we provide accounting and income tax services along with all the statutory requirements associated with the various business entities available to entrepreneurs in South Africa; but we like to believe that we add a little something extra – a little unasked-for advice, about the best way forward.
If you’re looking for something a little extra from your business accountant, then contact us now!
